Colin O'Brien
Board Member, Drymen
Joined our Board again in March 2026, having previously served as a member pre-Covid
For over 40 years Colin has lived in Drymen where he has been involved in villiage life over the years including youth work, Community Council and the Church.
Following a career in Education, he served as a Councillor, as a West Stirlingshire member for 12 years, including a term as Provost of Stirling. Colin was a founding member of the Board of the National Park and was latterly its Vice Convener. From 2007-18 he servered as Chair of the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum. In 2012 he was appointed a Dupte Lieutenant for Stirling and Falkirk.
Coline is retired and enjoys his family, garding, walking, music and theatre. He believes we must do all we can to provide homes for people.
