Coronavirus
Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the importance of ensuring the health and well-being of our customers and staff, we have come to the difficult decision to close our office to the public until further notice. We are working hard to maintain essential services and minimise impact for our tenants. The majority of staff are working remotely and have capacity to do so as long as necessary. If you wish to contact us please call us on 01786 841 101 or email enquiries@rsha.org.uk You can also find direct contact details for all of our staff on our website www.rsha.org.uk We will continue to monitor and take advice in line with government guidance and Public Health Scotland and take all necessary measures to protect the health and safety of our staff and tenants and we will update our website with the latest information as and when necessary.
Please note the following:
o Our office will be closed until further notice however we are working hard to maintain essential services. We would encourage you to contact us by telephone on 01786 841 101 or email enquiries@rsha.org.uk
o Our staff will not be attending any public or non-essential meetings out with our premises.
o You must advise us as soon as possible if you, or any of your household, is self-isolating or has been diagnosed with COVID-19. If you have any worries or concerns you should call NHS 24 on 111 or visit NHS Inform’s website on www.nhsinform.scot
o Your privacy is important to us. The collection, handling and use of such personal information is necessary given the situation that we are currently facing. It is critical that we have access to this personal information to protect the vital interests of our own and our contractors’ staff. We need to know that it is safe for our staff and our contractors to have contact with you.
o Housing Officers will not be carrying out any non-essential home visits.
o Gas servicing and planned maintenance visits will continue to take place until further notice. We may however have to cancel or postpone works at short notice.
o Please ask any staff member or contractor to follow the public health guidelines and ensure that they wash their hands when they visit you at home on arrival and before they leave.
o To increase social distancing and limit contact we will be instructing only emergency/urgent repairs to be carried out for the foreseeable future. Please consider whether your repair can wait before contacting us. If your repair is a low priority we may ask you to wait for it to be carried out. We will also keep in close contact with our contractors in relation to their service availability. We would also encourage you to send us photographs or a video of the defect to remove the need for a pre-inspection. You can do this by emailing enquiries@rsha.org.uk
o We understand that this is a challenging time and that some tenants may have difficulty paying their rent. Please let us know if you are experiencing any difficulty as soon as possible. We are here to help.
